Uncommon Focus is what sets the DirectFly Alto apart from other Light Sport Aircraft.
From the beginning, our focus was to provide the most reliable, cost effective flight training aircraft in the market.

Our approach was to identify a niche in a market place of over a hundred designs in the Light Sport Aircraft category and to select a manufacture with an all-metal design from the Czech Republic. DirectFly s.r.o. is a small manufacturing company located near Hluk - Kunovice, this region of the Czech Republic has over 70 years of tradition in aircraft production. In todays marketplace, the company personnel is as important as the facility. In DirectFly we have a exceptional management and design team that is supported with a small and dedicated group of manufacturing personnel.

Our considerations included selecting a quality all-metal airframe design; dynamic stability, with predictable flight characteristics; low operating costs; ease of service, maintenance, and repair; and U.S. availability of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).

Our decision was deliberate in selecting an all-glass cockpit, with its proven reliability, scalability, software driven updates and modular design.
